GAMTA students are busy once again this year in productions at the world’s biggest arts event The Edinburgh Festival Fringe. We caught up with two of our graduates featuring in very different shows at this years festival. GAMTA Graduate Frances Mayli McCann (pictured in the main image) is one of 6 girls appearing in National Theatre Scotland’s new musical play ‘Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour’ The new play directed by former NTS Artistic Director Vicky Featherstone, will run at Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre from 18th – 30th August prior to UK Tour. The show marks another successful engagement in Frances’ already busy and successful career which to date has included panto, Priscilla Queen of the Desert (London and UK Tour) and Little Shop of Horrors.
In a very different production, graduate CHRIS ROBERTS joins the cast of Katie and the Mona Lisa – a children’s musical adapted from a series of children books. The show is on at Pleasance Courtyard (Venue 33) from 5th – 31st August. You can book tickets for both productions and find out more information HERE.
