GAMTA graduate Erin Carter is a Glasgow writer and theatre maker. Following a decade working as a performer, and with the support of the young writers programs at The Royal Court Erin began a successful writing career.
Erin’s plays include Craven Choke Puppies, The Cost of Living, The Philosphers and theatre shorts; Prophesy which was produced at The Public Theatre New York, Simple Truth at Theatre503, and Three is Company and The Shed for the Kings Head Theatre.
Erin’s original film commission Gold, a political sports drama, is being developed with Steeley Eyed Films and she has recently contributed to CBeebies series; Tea Cup Travels.
Erin continues to create work in collaboration with other artists and is a theatre lecturer at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
