Assessment

Students are continually assessed within their class however, formal assessments take place in Spring with the issuing of a report and the opportunity for parents to come in and discuss the progress of their child with staff. If a student is recommended for upgrade to the next level of class, this would normally take place following the formal assessments. Alternatively, staff may feel that the student would benefit from further time at the same level. It is different for every child.
