Gamta in your School!

GAMTA have kicked off an ambitious workshop program visitng some 40 Primary & Secondary Schools over the next 6 weeks of summer term.   The exciting 90 minute workshop program sees some of the most experienced team here at GAMTA visiting each School and offering a program of Singing, Dance and Acting all based around a hit West End Musical.

Supporting excellence in Scotland!

GAMTA will perform at The Scottish Entertainment Guide Awards during a glittering ceremony at Glasgow's Thistle Hotel on Sunday April 22nd.   The students will both open and close the show with numbers from their glittering Vegas Set.

GAMTA are delighted to be supporting this new event and additionally will be sponsoring the Best Theatre Award.  Fingers crossed for all the finalists...we will see you there!

More success for Millie!

Part-time Musical Theatre student MILLIE INNES, has scooped a prestigious award at this years Scottish Variety Awards in Glasgow.    The 11 year old actor already has a string of television credits to her name including Dani's House, Nina and the Nuerons, Single Father with David Tennant and most recently, Case Histories - all for BBC.

Millie was recently nominated the Best New Scottish Actor Award at this years Scottish Variety Awards held in Glasgow at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.   The award was given following a public vote and we are delighted to report that Millie won!   Congratulations!    Award season isn't over yet however, Millie is also nominated for the Entertainment Award at this years Young Scot Awards.   The ceremony takes place on April 28th at Glasgow's Hilton Hotel - we will keep you posted!

Easter School 2012 will be based around the film and musical MATILDA.   A week of fun classes and rehearsals will centre around the story of the extraordinary girl with extraordinarily bad parents!

GAMTA kids to star in UK Tour of Oliver!

Consider yourself one of us!

Producers of the UK Tour of Oliver were wowed at recent auditions for children for their multi million pound production of the hit musical.  8 GAMTA Students will join the childrens cast of 20 and appear at The Edinburgh Playhouse when the tour visits Scotland in May.

The students will join GAMTA Graduate EMMA DUKES who plays Bet in the National Tour.
