Christopher Breckenridge studied at the University of Glasgow gaining a Bachelor of Music Honours degree. He spent several years performing throughout Europe with ensembles including Collegium Vocale, Gent and la Chapelle Royale under Philippe Herreweghe; and Scottish Opera.
During this time, Christopher developed his interest in anatomy and physiology which he now combines with his love of music, resulting in the development of his highly successful and unique singing programme, celebrated by students, graduates and the industry
Christopher was Head of Singing at Radley College, Oxon, for four years, and taught at La Sainte Union and Birds College in London. He was also a member of music staff at NYCoS, and chorus-master for NBC Changed Voices and the RSNO Junior Chorus Changed Voice Choir. He has also worked as MD and vocal consultant for productions and showcases.
Christopher is Head of Singing at GAMTA where he has steered the team since 2005.
