Gianni is a composer-lyricist specializing in musical theatre and is currently based in Rome, Italy. As a composer his musical influences stem from Eastern European folk to classical to electronica. Current projects include an electro-classical musical following the lives of Wally Neuzil, Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt in a distorted turn of the century Vienna with book and lyrics by Christine Claudel. In 2014 the show was invited to take part in the New York International Fringe Festival where it enjoyed a successful run and enthusiastic response. In 2015 he was invited to collaborate with lyricist Rory Sherman on the album, “Ms. – A Song Cycle” created to raise awareness for the UK MS Society.
